ELIA ERATO
"Elia Erato" is located in the old town of Chania, on the hill of Kastelli above the Venetian harbour and it consists of five open plan maisonettes. Due to their location, some of them have a shared balcony with panoramic view over the harbour, while the rest of the maisonettes overlooking at the streets of the old town.
Elia Erato consists of two One-Bedroom Maisonettes with a sofa bed, and they can accommodate up to 3 guests. It also has two Two-Bedroom Maisonettes with two bedrooms and a sofa bed, and they can accommodate up to 5 guests. Finally, a One-Bedroom Maisonette with a sofa that opens and a balcony overlooking the Venetian harbour, that can accommodate up to 3 guests. All five maisonettes have two bathrooms.
The construction and architecture of all the buildings in Kastelli is such that access to "Elia Erato" is via Lithinon Street and there is no elevator.
The Venetian Harbor was built between 1320-1356 and is a pole of attraction for every visitor and for the residents of the area. "Elia - Erato" is ideal for a walk in all the sights of the old town (Firkas Fortress, the Maritime Museum, the Municipal Art Gallery, the Jewish synagogue), but also for a walk in the historical alleys full of life.
Walking through the cobbled streets of the old town or the pier of the port you can do your shopping in one of the many shops or enjoy your drink and meal in one of the many restaurants. The check-in process takes place at the reception located 150 meters away at the Elia Zampeliou Hotel. You can also taste and enjoy the traditional buffet breakfast served at Elia Fatma. In our traditional Cretan buffet, you can find breakfast that respects every type of diet.
An important information you should know is that in the old town, where the accommodation is located, the passage of vehicles is not allowed. If you want to park your vehicle, you can find a parking spot on Lithinon Street, Kanevaro Street, Meletiou Piga Street or Akti Kanari. Nevertheless, moving and touring the old town with electric bicycles – skates is an easy and advantageous solution, environmentally friendly.
